Information Architect

Forum One is seeking an experienced Information Architect / Interaction Designer to join our User Experience & Design practice. The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented thinker who understands how business goals, users’ needs, branding guidelines, and technology work together to create an optimal user experience. Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive user research and employ user-centered design methods to gain a thorough understanding of the client’s goals, organization’s mission, and end users’ needs
  • Actively support a diverse range of consulting engagements, producing artifacts including wireframes, user flows, site maps, personas, heuristic reviews, creative briefs, and others
  • Oversee the graphic design process, collaborating with design partners to implement the organizations’ vision
  • Support sales cycle with a focus on evangelizing Forum One’s approach to User Experience and Design

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in information architecture / human factors field
  • Experience with non-profit, government sectors required. Commercial experience desired.
  • Detailed portfolio of wireframes, site maps, navigation systems, user flow diagrams, personas, heuristics assessments, functional specifications, and resulting web designs
  • Outstanding writing and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to interact with clients, manage expectations, and communicate persuasively
  • Positive attitude and ability to flex, as needed
  • Demonstrated familiarity with web technologies and solutions that enhance the user experience
  • Understanding of web standards, search engine optimization methods and accessibility guidelines
  • Ability to diagnose, prioritize, and solve problems proactively
  • Experience collaborating with others and working in small teams
